PRACTICAS

MIT Argentine Tango club hosts a free practicas on MIT Campus. The practicas is free and open to everyone, and you do not need a partner (though you are welcome to come with a partner and practice with him or her). Practica is a place to practice your dance. There is no class beforehand, and there is no guidance from tango teachers, though you are welcome to ask other people for help.

There are two MIT Tango Club Practicas: the Monday Practica and the Thursday Practica

MONDAY PRACTICA

Every (and we do mean every) Monday, 9pm-11pm

THURSDAY PRACTICA

For the fall 2009 semester the Thursday Practica will be at Lobdell hall on the second floor of the Stratton student center. Student center's official physical address is 84 Massachusetts Avenue. It is the building on the opposite side of the MIT main entrance on Mass ave, set back from the street. To find Lobdell, enter the student center, take the stairs or the elevator to the second floor. Lobdell is a large hall located on the side of the building closest to Mass Ave.

Thursday practica notes: we get a lot of e-mails from out of towners asking if the practica is on a particular day, or if the practica is going on in a particular period (summer, winter, Thanksgiving, Solstice, etc). If no cancellation is listed in the "schedule" above, then the practica is on. Also we ask you to use Google maps to figure out how to get there if at all possible. If you are still having trouble, then go ahead and e-mail us.
